We have all woken up today to hear about the untimely passing away of our beloved Father in Christ, His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Paulose II, the Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan.
His Holiness left for Heavenly abode on the early morning of July 12th at 2:35AM (IST), at Saint Gregorios International Cancer Care Center, in Parumala, Kerala, India.
The Malankara Church has not lost a great father, rather have gained a great intercessor before the throne of Christ our God. May His Holiness’ example of simplicity, prayer, and humility be an example for all of us.
Families of SGIOC, Melbourne cherishes the blessed memories especially that of the Holy Consecration of this Parish, led by His Holiness.
We will have Evening prayer followed by Prayer of Incense and Condolence Message tonight starting from 7:00 PM.
No registrations are required to attend, although COVID 19 protocols including QR check in applies when at the church.
May the memory of our Bava Thirumeni, His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Paulose II, be eternal!
